There are many opportunities for us to eat out, whether at a restaurant, cafe, fast food outlet or even having a takeaway, but is enough being done to reduce the amount of sugar the eating out of home sector are using?
The final voluntary sugar reduction programme report showed the eating out of home (OOH) sector were falling behind in its commitment to reduce sugar, with an overall reduction of just 0.2% between 2017 and 2020. This Sugar Awareness Week, join us as we bring attention to the importance of reducing sugar and calories in the OOH industry, and what can be done to help achieve this.
