Katharine Jenner leaving post of Director
After fifteen years working with Consensus Action on Salt, Sugar and Health, Katharine Jenner is leaving the post of Director this week.
Katharine joined CASSH in 2007 as a volunteer and thanks to her leadership, CASSH has grown to become a leading expert group, delivering high quality research and advocacy in support of reformulation. She has overseen the impact of Action on Salt in driving forward the salt reduction policy and the continued renewal of salt reduction targets; led the setting up Action on Sugar, supported the implementation of the sugar reduction policy as well as other key policies such as the Soft Drinks Industry Levy; and developed World Action on Salt, Sugar and Health to deliver implementation research in low- and middle-income countries and global awareness weeks.
From September, Katharine will be joining the Obesity Health Alliance as Director. We wish Katharine all the best, and look forward to continuing to work closely with her.
