Published:

The Action on Sugar team were at the briefing event to learn about the quality of food served to children nationwide. Kawther Hashem, Registered Nutritionist at Action on Sugar, said: "The level of sugar in some of these puddings for children is absolutely shocking and the food industry must act quickly to protect children from becoming overweight and obese. It's imperative that companies do more to offer families lower sugar options and smaller portions of puddings so that children are not encouraged to eat excess calories and sugar even if they are dining out."
